Steven served as an award‑winning police officer for 21 years, concluding his career as a Chief Inspector within the Metropolitan Police Service. In his final role, he led the Digital Delivery Team in Digital Policing, overseeing the Body‑Worn Video Unit, Radio Teams, and Digital Delivery functions. Under his leadership, several major digital capabilities were successfully introduced across the organisation, including Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Teams, and GoodSAM.

A qualified Bronze Public Order Commander, Steven regularly took command of high‑profile sporting, ceremonial, and protest events across London. His earlier work in Islington saw him lead Neighbourhood Policing teams, where he managed operations involving significant venues and communities such as Finsbury Park Mosque, Arsenal Football Club, and multiple royal visits.

Steven is a member of the Security Institute, qualified Fire Risk assessor and member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and a member of the Institute of Risk and Safety Management. He is also a qualified trainer supporting international companies delivering Digital Solutions training and has brought this professionalism into security training.
